Our Poppy Campaign begins on the last Friday of October and continues to Remembrance Day, November 11th. Poppy boxes are placed with businesses and organizations in our area, and the public are encouraged to buy and wear a poppy as a symbol of Remembrance.
Dedicated volunteers appear in person with poppy boxes at strategic locations to sell poppies and engage young and old, talking about the poppy and remembrance.

An appeal is also made through letters and personal contact for businesses, organizations, and individuals to purchase a wreath or make a donation. Wreaths representing organizations and businesses, together with wreaths honouring individuals, are laid at the Haileybury cenotaph at the November 11th Remembrance Day ceremony.
